Red Sand Project Event After Club Meeting at Royer Park Bridge

PCOE and Placer County are not only coordinating a Red Sand Project on January 15th, but planning events throughout the month to bring awareness to Human Trafficking. Rotary sees The Red Sand Project as part of a broader global initiative supported by Rotary International, which is committed to ending human trafficking through education, prevention, survivor support, and strategic partnerships. Rotary clubs worldwide are stepping up to host events, fundraise, and engage in direct service to combat this humanitarian crisis.
Rotary Club of Roseville is teaming up with PCOE and Placer County to participate in this event on Jan 15th. The event runs from 12 noon to 4 pm in Roseville at the Royer Park Bridge. We realize this is during our normal Rotary Club meeting so this week’s meeting will be shortened so we can go to the event. So far we know of one speaker, Gary McDonald from Stand Up Placer who will speak at 1:30 pm.
